Review: Is she Due a Comeback in 2025? - Reintroducing the Celine Luggage Handbag

I am ready for the return of the Celine Luggage it deserves a 2025 comeback. It is a very good bag. This bag was Phoebe Philo’s first “It” bag and rightly so.
If you are not a millenial let me give you a bit of background around the Celine Luggage. In 2010 you could not move without running into a celebrity carrying this bag. The Olsen Twins, Rihanna, Kim Kardashian, Nicole Richie…the cast of The Hills...footballers wives…the list goes on…It was the era when everyone was celebrated (wrongly) for being matchstick thin, wearing skinny jeans, big scarfs, long thin cardigans and toting massive bags.
My carpet is so old and horrid I had to put a blur on it haha.
This bag came in so many colours; red, purple, orange, even tri-colour (which I personally dislike an unbelievable amount, the tri colour might take 1st place as my least favourite bag of all time). It was everywhere. But, like all handbags when they have such intense popularity, it fades (with the rare exception of a Classic Chanel, Lady Dior and Hermes Birkin) and everyone moves onto the next hot thing.
But, last year I saw it sneaking back into our lives: Cameron Diaz (or was it Kate Upton) had her orange one out during a magazine interview, Lottie Moss was seen with her neutral Celine in London, and Lisa from Blackpink had the yellow nano slung cross-bodied. Is she back?
To find this bag on the Celine website now you have to click on ‘other lines’. it the words of Mindy Kaling - “how dare they!” The bag now comes in two sizes nano and micro. They did used to have a mini size. But a terrible choice of name considering the mini bag was in fact….a large tote bag. But hey? Who am I to question Phoebe? Please do not be fooled the nano is also quite a big bag…

They currently only have three colours available: black, gray/blue and a brown/taupe/beige. Apart from the black I do not rate the other two colours, they look a bit sludgy.
My bag is the mini and she is seriously well made. The craftsmanship, the leather, the structure is something Celine does so impeccably well. You are holding serious quality in your hands with this bag. It has an interior zip pocket, a smaller leather compartment to keep your handbag organised, a compartment for your phone (which the Iphone is too big for now - phones were smaller back then in 2014) and an exterior zipped pocket.
I bought my bag from Hardlyeverwornit, it came with the original store tag and receipt.
What Does it Fit?
Pros
Fits Loads In: Spacious interior perfect for daily essentials and more. I’ve actually used this as an overnight bag once- and took a small cross-body bag with me for essentials.
Impeccably Well-Made: High-quality craftsmanship ensures durability and elegance.
Sturdy Build: Holds its shape and withstands regular use.
Status Symbol: A luxury piece that exudes sophistication and taste - also its Phoebe!
Price: you can get this bag for a great price second hand!
Cons
Not Shoulder-Friendly: Short handles make it difficult, near impossible, to carry over the shoulder - which is annoying if you use this bag as a commuting bag - you have to hold it in your elbow crease like Victoria Beckham
Heavy: The structured design and materials add noticeable weight. When full its like carrying a mini kettle bell.
2010s Saturation: Did we peak in the 2010s?
